  Manitoba Education

 June 21, 2010

In this hands-on session we will learn basic through advanced “reveal techniques”, mechanics of using the board, lesson plan design, how to work with video and audio, weave in appropriate web 2.0 tools and applications, and discuss the pedagogical considerations that flow from using this technology, multimedia and the internet.

Below you will find resources and links related to the SMARTen Up! workshop. All slides and SMART Notebook files used in the presentation can be found here as well as other resources teachers may find valuable.

Interactive Resources

At the bottom of the page you will find links to files you can download and begin using with your SMARTboard right away.

This presentation was put together collaboratively by an international group of teachers. One slide at a time. It grows, slowly, all the time. If you want to contribute contact information for Tom Barrett, a teacher in the UK who started it, is on the last slide.

FREE GIFTS FOR YOUR SB

There are two files you can download below. One is a collection of tools for your SB gallery. Just download it and double click; it will install automatically. It's mostly math stuff but I'm sure other teachers will find valuable stuff there too.

The second file is a Notebook file with over 170 teaching tools you can use in your classes. They can be added to your Notebook Gallery by clicking on them in the Page Sorter view as shown in the screen capture below.
